Windows live messenger 2009 has been officially released for download. There are a lot of new features and bug fixes, the interface looks great, the sign-in window looks nice and much more. Here is a list of features that you will find when you download Windows live messenger 2009.

User interface has been updated, including the toasts
Sign-in screen has been restyled
New program/tray icon
Updated e-mail icon showing the number of new e-mails more clearly
Updated Group window header
SkyDrive officially replaces sharing folders feature (Actions > View your online files)
Expanded What’s new area shows more details (eg. complete Tweets, added pictures, etc.) and Post a note has been updated for some items
What’s new per contact in conversation window
You cannot choose your own signature sound any longer. You can only assign signature sounds to your contacts
Webcam snapshot has been renamed to Webcam Picture
Tile with moods has been renamed to Dynamic Picture
Modify moods, videos and/or pictures of previously made Dynamic Pictures
Change scene option added to status dropdown list

Download MSN messenger 2009 final

All you need to do is visit Windows Live Installer, uncheck the applications that you don’t want but keep the tick on Messenger and click install.

Windows Live Writer 2009 (Beta) is now availabe for download making it easy to share your photos and videos on blog services like Windows Live, Wordpress, Blogger, Live Journal, TypePad, etc. Live Writer 2009 offers great features, you can now search through your drafts / published posts. This latest version, allows you to search through local drafts and published posts for text, a built-in feature that allows you to insert a video and publish it to your YouTube account, or embed them in your blog, supports plugins for social media websites like flickr, Digg, Twitter.

You can also add multiple pictures at once through file > insert picture dialog. A Live tag suggestion module has also been introducd for windows live writer 2009 like google suggest.
