These people can be students who are checking out information related to their assignments or writers, employers, writers, bloggers etc. They confront problems like going through all those codes and images that also get copied with the text. There’s a simple solution now in form of a free software called PureText.

Copy Text only

It’s a easy to use application that lets you paste text without any formatting. It takes off all the images and codes and make your job easier. It’s a small piece of software which adds a new windows hot-key which allows you to paste text only to any application without any formatting. The default key is Windows Key +V which can be configured and changed.

When you download and install PureText, you will see a “PT” icon in your task bar. You can right-click on that icon to display the menu which shows more options and helps you configure the application. PureText removes all the formatting which includes font face, style, color, paragraph styles, margins, bullets, scripts, tables, charts, pictures or any embedded objects.

So if you are into research or like to gather information and want it to be in text form only, this software is for you.
